Tips for choose to suits your book project
Image Printing Packaging Ltd help you decide whether a Portrait or Landscape orientation best suits your book project.
A Landscape orientation refers to a book that has a width dimension larger than its height dimension . For example, books that measure 11" wide x 8.5" high or 9" wide x 6" high are examples of the Landscape format.
The Landscape format has a horizontal shape. A Landscape format is not as common as the Portrait format, but it is still very widely used. It is also known as a"short side bind"or a "short edge bind" because the spine of the book runs along the shorter of the two dimensions.
In addition to Portrait and Landscape, a book could also be created with a Square format, which occurs when the width and height dimension are equal. Of the three book formats, a Square design is the least frequently used, which makes it the most unique.

What's the Benefits of Print On Demand
Benefits of Print On Demand
Besides
lowering the unit cost of short run printing, Print On Demand allows the
customer to keep fewer copies of its books, catalogs, manuals or other printed
items in stock, thus reducing storage space and handling costs. And because the
customer?ˉs inventory levels can be kept low, Print On Demand helps reduce the
chance of being stuck with printing that has become obsolete. With Print On
Demand, you only order items as you need them.
Does it Apply to All Types of
Printing?Print On Demand is most often associated with books and other multi-page documents, but it can also be used for other printed pieces as well. The key to Print On Demand is that the production runs are relatively short. For example, a customer could order 100 copies of a product catalog at a time instead of ordering a whole skid.
Digital Printing makes Print on Demand Possible.
Print on Demand is made possible by Digital printing equipment. Traditional offset printing presses involve more set-up time, which generally translates to a higher unit cost when the production run is short. Bear in mind that traditional offset presses are still the more economical choice for longer production runs.

Flyers are very simple forms of printed
communication. Both are generally created as single, unfolded sheets of varying
dimensions, though cards are thicker and smaller in size than flyers. The
printing may be on one or both sides.
Intended for quick, affordable and straightforward
communication, church flyers are commonly used to announce an upcoming event,
provide an invitation to a special gathering, share a bible story or verse, or
relay a brief overview of the church' s mission.
Depending on the message, flyers may be used for
members or non-members. Also, flyers are most commonly distributed
person-to-person, or they may be displayed in a rack or pew for people to help
themselves. Sometimes, cards are designed as door hangers for use in
neighborhood canvassing.

What is Digital printing different from litho printing
A full complement of rollers, rubber blankets, etc. is necessary for each ink color. Typical offset presses are 1-color, 2-color, 4-color, or 6-color. 1-color presses are most commonly used to print black only, although they are not limited to black. 2-color presses often handle black and one additional spot color - perfect for printing simple brochures and newsletters. 4-color presses are usually set up for CMYK. 6-color presses are usually set up to handle CMYK inks and two additional spot inks. If you need 5 inks, and you only have a 4 color press, it's necessary to break down and set up again so that you can re-feed the paper into the press for the last color.
Digital printing is the reproduction of digital images on physical surface, such as common or photographic paper, film, cloth, plastic, etc.

It can be differentiated from litho printing in many ways, some of which are;
- Every impression made onto the paper can be different, as opposed to making several hundred or thousand impressions of the same thing from one set of plates, as in traditional methods.
- The Ink or Toner does not absorb into the paper, as does conventional Ink, but forms a layer on the surface.
- It generally requires less waste in terms of chemicals used and paper wasted in set up.
- It is excellent for rapid prototyping, or small print runs which means that it is more accessible to a wider range of designers.
